About

I founded the PTSD Recovery Centre to offer a more focused and structured approach to trauma treatment. Too often, people living with PTSD are unsure where or how to access good quality treatment and endure debilitating symptoms for years.

With a background in both frontline emergency services and clinical psychology, I have seen firsthand the impact of trauma and the importance of timely, effective intervention. This centre was created to provide evidence-based, trauma-focused care in a setting designed specifically for recovery.

My aim is to create a centre that supports people to move beyond trauma with treatment that is intentional, compassionate, and grounded in scientific evidence.

Dr. Stephanie Saulnier

A meticulously organised therapist’s desk in a PTSD treatment clinic, with a smooth light-wood surface holding a closed, navy-blue hardcover notebook, a silver pen, and a neatly stacked folder labelled “Treatment Plan” in subtle lettering. A small ceramic pot with a thriving green plant adds a touch of life near the corner. Behind the desk, built-in white shelves display neatly arranged psychology books and a few understated, abstract decor pieces. Soft, cool natural light enters from an unseen window, creating gentle reflections on the desk and a calm, focused atmosphere. Photographic realism, eye-level composition with shallow depth of field keeps the desktop in crisp focus while the shelves blur softly in the background, reinforcing a professional, trustworthy clinical setting.
